Virtual Sun

Virtual Sun is a line of tanning beds built by SunMaster in their Jemison, Alabama manufacturing facilities. All Virtual Sun beds use F71 lamps. They were designed to be a less expensive alternative to the SunMaster tanning beds, which are more a premium design. Virtual Sun tanning bed tend to be average sized and offer fewer options than the SunMaster beds, and typically use the same electronics as the SunMaster beds, making them considerably more advanced than most beds.

When an older frame design is retired from the SunMaster line, it is typically moved to the Virtual Sun line. In essence, this means most Virtual Sun beds are the same as a SunMaster tanning bed, only one generation older. Considering that SunMaster prides themselves as the most advanced tanning bed made (and most would agree with this assessment), this still leaves Virtual Sun beds as technologically superior to most generic Wolff systems on the market.

Virtual Sun was designed to be competitive with regular Wolff type systems in size and features, but having more advanced lamps and electronics, and (presumably) a better tanning experience.

While the parent company has been in business since 1985, they didn't start building tanning beds under the Virtual Sun name until 1998. Most have a one year warranty, even though the same components in a SunMaster beds would offer a 3 year warranty.

In a nutshell, Virtual Sun are good, basic tanning bed with few extra features but advanced elecrtronics and lamps, and generally a lower than average price.
