Bellarium Plus

The Bellarium Plus was a lamp that was manufactured exclusively for use in SonnenBruane tanning beds, and was also available as an aftermarket replacement for other tanning beds. It burned a slightly pinkish/purplish color and was slightly higher UVB than the Bellarium S. While Wolff Systems doesn't publish UVB ratings for their tanning bulbs, many people considered it to be comparible to a 4.8% UVB tanning bulb.

Bellarium Plus lamps are no longer being made. They were available in sizes F71 (bi-pin) and F73 (RDC or Recessed Dual Connector). For tanning beds that required F59 tanning bulbs (such as shorter tanning beds with high pressure face tanning), SonnenBruane used the Bellarium S F59 lamp. It was never very popular as a replacement lamp due to its limited use as an OEM lamp and higher price.

There are a variety of tanning lamps out now that are legally compatible with the older Bellarium Plus lamps, including Light Sources, Inc.'s Beach Sun and the SunMaster Pro Plus and Custom Plus tanning bulbs.
